Rhea has been exposed to sewing, tailoring, and costume-making which covers some of the basic fundamentals of fashion design. She has previously volunteered as CPP Barkada's costume committee co-head for the Pilipino-American Cultural Night performance in 2019. In this role, she and her team were in chare of managing and creating costumes for the event.
Through the fashion merchandising program at Mt. SAC, she has also been exposed to fashion retailing and visual merchandising, retail buying, and production technologies like AIMS 360 and creating cut tickets, spec sheets, cost sheets, etc.
 
At CPP, Rhea learned many aspects of business administration through her program. She even held a board position as Director of Finance, or treasurer, for CPP's Pilipino American Studies Kollective from 2020 to 2021. Aside from helping plan zoom club meetings, her role consisted of managing the club's finances and conducting fundraisers for the student organization's events. Moreover, her marketing emphasis focused on digital marketing, promotional strategies, and brand management which can be seen throughout the projects included in this portfolio.

Rhea has been using technical design tools like Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Premiere Pro, and Rhino 3D CAD software since 2016. She is proficient in Microsoft Office programs like Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Powerpoint. She has used these programs throughout school, her digital marketing internship, and creating personalized content for her hobbies like vlogs or OOTD videos.

Lastly, Rhea has worked in retail, food and beverage, and customer service since 2018. Working part-time for such jobs and even holding leadership positions has not only kept her updated with recent fashion trends and consumer behavior, but also helped her develop the ability to multi-task, plan ahead, work collaboratively with a team, solve problems, and communicate effectively.
